Sarah Jane SPARKS was born 30 Oct 1860 in Congresbury, England, and died 4 Nov 1942 in Portageville, New York. Sarah Jane married Richard Walter NOBLE (b. 20 Jul 1857, d 14 Mar 1920)
on 11 Jul 1882 in New York state.  Walter was born in England to Hannah SMITH and George NOBLE, and died in Clyde, New York.  There was some speculation as to whether George was actually Walter's natural father. Going by the 1857 birth date of Walter, we have George born in 1845, making him 12 at the time of Walter's birth. That's just ICKY! More when we figure it out.

1.John SPARKS married Eleanor Ann PETERS 28 October 1872, in Congresbury, England. Eleanor was born 14 Apr 1832 in Chew Magna, Somerset, England to Samuel and Ann Peters. She died 25 Mar 1906 in Geneva, New York. The cause of death is listed as "Paralysis". I wonder if she had a stroke? Eleanor brought little Emma with her when she came to New York in 1888. They came on a Cattle Boat. It seems Eleanor was in a hurry to get here.  I'm speculating that she was trying to get to New York for  Elizabeth's wedding. "Ellen" is resting with Emma and Albert in Glenwood Cemetery. She had several siblings of whom we know very little.

More is needed on this (Aug 8/03)) and Eleazer F Crandall Sr. He died in Geneva, New York, of pneumonia. Eleazer's family history is rich and rather juicy, so I will be adding more about his clan. Stay tuned.
