BRUCE COUNTY
MUSEUM AND ARCHIVES
I have been visiting this Archive for a few years now. I am still amazed at the amount of information it contains for those of us researching in Bruce County and in some areas beyond. They have Birth, Death, and Marriage Indexes for all of Ontario from the earliest dates to more recent available dates, as well as images of those registrations for Bruce County (and possibly from other areas, depending on the film). They also have extensive cemetery transcription books and census films/indexes. There are many local family histories available to check, and many photos which have been donated to the Museum. Newspaper fiche is available for certain papers for certain years. To find out more, please contact the Archive through the website, or the phone number above.

Behold The Lovely Ann Marie. She is the Assistant Archivist, and rules the Archive room in my humble opinion, and in reality. Ann Marie sledge-hammered a rather monsterous brick wall for me a few years ago, and I have been shining her shoes ever since. If you have any donations to make to the Museum and/or Archives, I'm sure they would be greatly appreciated. I know that once my work is all typed in, I will be donating a book, or few, to the Archives concerning all my Bruce County family members - of which there are many.
Stop in to the Museum and say hello.
